Michele holds a Bachelor of Music (BMus) degree in singing and music education from the University of Western Ontario. After many years of successful work in the music industry, she returned to school, earning a Master of Speech Language Pathology (MScSLP) from McMaster University. She is a registered member of the College of Audiologists and Speech Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO).

Michele has always been fascinated by languages. In classical singing, accent matching is a key skill when presenting music in a wide range of languages. As a student SLP, Michele was inspired when working with clients who wished to modify their accents because of barriers they experienced in their lives. Here, the desire to help people reach their goals lined up perfectly with the years spent on ear training and attention to pronunciation. As a member of the Speak Fluent team, Michele is delighted to support individuals who experience challenges associated with the way they pronounce English.

Michele also works with clients with voice disorders, and those who desire to enhance the quality and efficiency of their speaking voices.
