Hi, I’m Bianca! I love helping others feel more intentional in expressing themselves and empowering their confidence in communication.
I completed the Bachelor of Applied Science Honours program at the University of Guelph in 2020, followed by a post-graduate Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences certificate at Brock University in 2021. I completed my Master of Science in Education in Speech-Language Pathology at SUNY Buffalo State University in 2023. During my master's program, I completed my thesis on the emotional production and perception of vocal quality in individuals with Parkinson's Disease.
My academic and clinical experiences furthered my interest in how the effects of voice control and articulation can alter communication. I’m passionate about helping individuals with professional communication, voice and resonance, fluency and stuttering, cognitive-communication, and language development. I believe a holistic approach to communication training can empower individuals to express their needs, foster meaningful relationships, and enhance their overall quality of life. I focus on listening to client’s communication concerns and targeting goals that are important to them in everyday life. In my sessions, I provide clients with tools tailored to their communication needs and prioritize functional strategies to support compelling communication to listeners. I’m motivated to instill confidence in others that their words are heard and understood in every environment.
Aside from being a speech-language pathologist, I enjoy spending time with friends and family, traveling, and being outdoors. Growing up in a big Italian family has taught me the importance of creating meaningful relationships and experiences with others. Without effectively communicating with those around me, I would not be able to build connections that provide me with so much love and joy in my life. My own experiences further my passion for supporting others to communicate meaningfully and intentionally.
