What Are Mini Accent Workshops?

Our Mini Accent Workshops are 1-hour group sessions designed to help you improve one sound at a time. Whether it’s the complex "North American R" or the difference between “live” and “leave”, these sessions focus on key pronunciation elements to enhance clarity and naturalness.

Who is it For?

How do I know which session to attend?
For each session, we’ll highlight which common languages don’t have the specific sound being covered. If your native language is listed, there's a good chance you may need help with that sound. That said, everyone is different! Pay attention to any English words you feel you pronounce differently from native speakers—those sessions could be especially helpful for you.

Why We’re Launching Mini Accent Workshops

We know life gets busy with work, family, and well-deserved vacations. Many of our clients found they needed a quick refresher on specific sounds they’d worked on before. Sometimes 10 minutes was enough, and other times, more practice was needed—but a full 1-on-1 session wasn’t always necessary.

We also heard during intake calls that some people were interested in improving their pronunciation but couldn’t commit to the time or cost of a full program. These mini workshops make accent work more accessible, offering focused, affordable opportunities to target key sounds.

Each workshop focuses on one sound at a time, based on sounds that are commonly tricky across many language backgrounds and ones that our clients often want to improve. For example, the difference between "live" and "leave" affects many English words—and most of the language backgrounds we work with struggle with this contrast.

These sessions can be a great complement to 1-on-1 coaching or a stand-alone introduction to accent work.
