Hi, Angela here! I’m Speak Fluent’s founder.
I didn’t always know I’d become a communication coach.
But long before I founded Speak Fluent, I was quietly observing how communication shaped everything: our relationships, our confidence, our ability to be taken seriously.
Growing up, I experienced moments of misunderstanding that stuck with me. A facial expression misread as judgment. A joke taken seriously. A hesitation that came off as uncertainty. Over time, I realized how much power we hold when we learn to match our words, tone, and body language with our true intent.
As a speech therapist, I saw a recurring gap: working professionals were looking for support, not to say their first words or recover language after a stroke, but to communicate clearly in daily meetings, navigate misunderstandings, and sound confident sharing ideas. Many of them had already done well in their careers, but their communication wasn’t keeping up with the roles they were stepping into.
So I created Speak Fluent Inc. in 2020, a virtual speech clinic designed for adults who want to express themselves in a way that feels authentic, clear, and credible. We started with a focus on accent modification. But very quickly, our work expanded. Clients came to us asking for help with interviews, difficult conversations, team presentations, and more. And we met them there. Communication is more than just grammar and vocabulary. It’s about being understood in your pronunciation, message, and vocal presence.
Since 2020, we’ve helped over 2,100 professionals build the kind of communication skills that don’t just change how they speak. At Speak Fluent, we help you influence the space around you, with intention, clarity, and impact.
